For many people. Midtown Manhattan is like the center of the universe. For me, it’s a favorite neighborhood for street photography. My next street photography workshop in Midtown is on August 25th. There are a few places available and you can register online.

““Excellent Street Photography Tour – I did a 4 hr tour in Midtown starting at Grand Central. It was excellent. Leanne is a Photographer but with an artistic touch. You’ll learn a lot of techniques like how to use reflective surfaces in your pictures (water, glass, polished stone). Learning how to frame pictures with whatever is available on the street. It’s quite a skill to casually photograph people in the moment. I had a great time throughout the tour. Leanne is very friendly and I had a great afternoon.” Tom, Washington, DC.
Creating History, Chinatown, June 2019.
Halal food carts are everywhere in New York City making them about as iconic as yellow taxis. So much to photograph in this city!
There’s so much to explore in New York City. Midtown is so diverse and so very populated that it makes it one of my favorite areas for street photography. I have a street photography workshop in Midtown on June 30th.
The color red is the perfect color in photography. The eye is naturally attracted to it. Red is a color that is easy to find in Chinatown as it is an auspicious color for the Chinese.
