Minimalism is great when you can capture. In my street photography workshops we work with what’s available. No experience necessary and even experienced photographers can gain.
Oh there are so many different kinds of photography you can do! Why limit yourself? I provide private abstract street photography workshops on a regular basis and I will probably create a group workshop in the spring.
The next street photography workshop in Chinatown will be on Sunday 9 February. There are a few spaces still available. And by the way, the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations will be going on then.
I love to capture people at work on the streets. It is one of the many things that we look to photograph while on group or private workshops. There’s always something to shoot!
I shoot all year around. Street photography is fabulous in the rain and umbrellas are very cool. This photo was taken during a private street photography workshop in Soho.
There’s something about monochrome street photography that I really like. This photo was taken on a recent street photography workshop in Hell’s Kitchen.
Hell’s Kitchen is a neighborhood west of Times Square. There are still a number of independent businesses in the area and they are great for street photography. Check out my upcoming street photography workshops there.
