Sunday in the Barrio

Harlem never disappoints me! There’s always fabulous street photography! And the weather was great! We had a really good time on the workshop and I have a few photos that I quite like! I am looking forward to seeing the photos from the attendees. Next Sunday is the new El Barrio Street Photography Workshop. We can call it Harlem Part 2, as I have divided them up so that we can spend more time in each neighborhood. They are both large and worthy of a whole 4 hour workshop. You can register online and there is a maximum or 6 people so I can work with everyone. This photo was taken today, 16 April 2017, during the Harlem Workshop in El Barrio.Sunday in the Barrio.jpg

Harlem times two

Harlem is a really big area in Manhattan. To accommodate that I now have 2 street photography workshops in Harlem! The next Harlem Street Photography Workshop is on Sunday 16 April and starts in East Harlem and then we make our way over to Harlem proper. This will probably be the last workshop that I do as a combination of the two areas as I have created a new workshop for East Harlem aka El Barrio. It deserves its own workshop! The first El Barrio Street Photography Workshop will be on Sunday 23 April! There are still a few places available for El Barrio and only one space available for Harlem. No matter your level of experience in photography or street photography we have a great time and capture some fabulous photos. Oh, and the weather is looking really good these days. Harlem & El Barrio Workshops

Today Chinatown and in 2 weeks is Harlem. Harlem is a very large neighborhood. We cover some territory in East Harlem also called El Barrio and also Harlem proper. The workshop on Sunday 16 April might be my last Harlem Street Photography Workshop that covers both areas. As I now have an El Barrio Street Photography Workshop on Sunday 23 April as well so that we can explore more of each of the neighborhoods. They are both fabulous neighborhoods and great for street photography. No matter what level you are in street photography or even as a photographer. I work with everyone as a group and also individually. And we always have a great time! You can read reviews of previous participants on my site. Happy shooting and happy spring!Harlem workshop 12 March

Review by Gary, New York City

“This photoshoot gave me a great opportunity to see Harlem in a different light with all its vibrancy and uniqueness. Beautiful imagery, great conversation, and a knowledgeable instructor to provide history and guidance. I will definitely do it again.” – Gary, New York City. Zapata.jpg
