New York City is very diverse and Jackson Heights, Queens is the most diverse neighborhood in the world! It’s also great for street photography. I have a workshop coming up there on August 3rd. Whether you’re new to street or experienced at it, this workshop is for you.
There’s still space available for the Jackson Heights Street Photography Workshop on August 3rd. It’s an amazing neighborhood for photography!
The spirit of place is one thing that you can capture in street photography. And one of those things is some of the amazing street art in New York City that is specific to the area like the photo in this post. This photo was taken in Harlem. I do photo tours on a regular basis there and a few times a year I also have street photography workshops there.
Street photography comes in many different styles. I provide public street photography workshops and private workshops as well. In either, I work very closely with you to help with camera settings and shooting techniques. This photo was taken in East Harlem.
So many people and so many neighborhoods to shoot in NYC. That makes street photography great fun. This photo was taken on the boardwalk in Coney Island.
In a city with 8.6 million people, it’s difficult to find a private space. I love how this woman is standing in the doorway with her back to the traffic on the sidewalk while she is on a phone call. This photo was taken during a photo tour in Jackson Heights, Queen. I have a street photography workshop in Jackson Heights on August 3rd.
I’ve been shooting in Brighton Beach for many years now and it’s always fun. Brighton Beach is also called Little Odessa as it is a neighborhood with a large percentage of Russians that moved too NYC. I have a street photography workshop there on July 21st and there are still a few spaces available.
